The virtual meeting begins on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 5:30 PM and will remain available online through the comment period deadline of August 11, 2023. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The proposed improvements include reconstructing and widening the SL 288 mainlanes from four to six lanes and constructing frontage roads, two lanes in each direction.  The proposed improvements also include the construction of new U-turns at Kings Road along SL 288, as well as adding mainlanes, frontage roads and grade separated intersections between SL 288 and US 380 in Denton County.  A 10-foot shared-use path will be added on the north side of the project and a six-foot sidewalk will be added on the south side.  The project is approximately eight miles in length.
