Windhaven Parkway from 220 ft W of Gentle Way to Spring Creek Parkway - Public Hearing

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), will conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 7:00 pm, for the proposed improvements to widen an approximately 2.1 mile segment of Windhaven Parkway from a four to a six-lane divided roadway with dedicated turn lanes from approximately 220 feet west of Gentle Way to Parkwood Boulevard, and widen from a two to a four-lane divided roadway with dedicated turn lanes from Parkwood Boulevard to West Spring Creek Parkway in Plano, Collin County, Texas.
The purpose of the Public Hearing is to present the anticipated social, economic, and environmental effects of the proposed project. The Public Hearing will be held at the Tom Muehlenbeck Recreation Center, 5801 W Parker Road, Plano, Texas, 75093. Prior to the Public Hearing, an Open House will be held starting at 6:00 pm to allow for questions and review of project exhibits. TxDOT staff will be available to answer questions during the Open House. The formal Public Hearing presentation will begin at 7:00 pm followed by a public comment period.
