CSJ: 0816-02-072
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will conduct a Public Meeting on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at the Sanger High School Lecture Hall, 100 Indian Lane, Sanger, TX 76266. The purpose of the meeting is to present the planned improvements for Farm-to-Market (FM) 455 from west of FM 2450 to east of Marion Road in Denton County and to receive public comment. The meeting will be held in an open house format from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The proposed FM 455 project consists of a 5.5-mile long segment from FM 2450 to east of Marion Road within the City of Sanger, Denton County, Texas. The proposed project would widen the roadway from the existing two-lane facility to a four-lane divided minor arterial with curb and gutter. The existing facility consists of one travel lane in each direction with no shoulders. Approximately 41.5 acres of additional right-of-way (ROW) ranging in an additional width of 14 to 135 feet would be needed for the proposed project. Additionally, there will be 2.1 acres of proposed easements. There is potential displacement of 28 structures (11 residential and 17 retail/commercial) on 22 properties along the proposed project.
Open House: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
