Notice of Public Meeting for US 380 Denton County Feasibility Study

Where and When:
An In-Person Public Meeting will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Prosper ISD Children’s Health Stadium Community Room, 2000 Stadium Dr., Prosper, TX 75078 and Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Denton Civic Center, 321 E. McKinney St., Denton, TX 76201.
A Virtual Public Meeting will also be held at www.keepitmovingdallas.com/US380DentonPM3. The virtual meeting is not a live event and can be viewed at any time beginning at 6 p.m. on Nov. 30, 2021 and will remain available online through Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021. **The comment deadline has been extended to Wednesday, January 19, 2022 and the virtual public meeting materials will remain available until then.
All comments must be received on or before January 19, 2022.
Purpose:
An update will be provided on the US 380 Denton County feasibility study. The purpose of the study is to analyze potential roadway options for US 380 in Denton County, including improving the existing alignment or utilizing new alignments. The recommended alignment for this study will be presented. Comments may be provided online, or by mail, email, or voicemail as described in the notice and on the virtual public meeting website.
Description:
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is conducting a feasibility study for improvements to US 380 from I-35 to the Collin County Line in Denton County, TX.

Memorandum of Understanding:
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 9, 2019, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
