The in person and virtual public meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. and will be available through Thursday, December 15, 2022. All comments must be received on or before Thursday, December 15, 2022.
Purpose:
The purpose of the meeting is to present the proposed project alignments and solicit public comments on the proposed Rockwall County Outer Loop feasibility study, from FM 1138 to SH 205 in Rockwall County, Texas. The meeting will be an open house format with a virtual option and staff will be available to answer questions during the open house. Please note that the materials will not be available until Tuesday, November 15, 2022.
Description:
A feasibility study is being conducted for a 12-mile, new location roadway from FM 1138 to SH 205 in Rockwall County, Texas. The study includes evaluating alternatives within or near the cities of Fate, Royse City, McLendon-Chisholm, and Rockwall through Rockwall County. The ultimate proposed project configuration will consist of four lanes of frontage roads (two in each direction), four general purpose lanes (two in each direction), and two shared-use bicycle/pedestrian paths on each side within 500 feet of right-of-way.
